Long ago, these lands were cursed with the arrival of the Shroud Rifts - portals to a deadly realm. Creatures beyond the greatest nightmare crept out from the portals, destroying everything in their path. As the chaos spread, The Grand Council of Peace sent their armies into the portals, to push back the abominations attacking their kingdoms. What they found within, well... it changed the world forever. The Ember Crystal.
After years of using his people as guinea pigs, one Council Member found he could refine the Crystals to fuel magical abilities, items, and even the Shroud Rifts themselves. With this control, he could have closed every portal. Instead, he became blinded by the power of the crystals, lustful at the power they bring. One by one, he took over the lands of each of the other Council members. Those who respected his power as absolute joined the New Grand Council. For those who resisted, The Grand Leader built The Crucible - an Arena where survivors are forced to fight to the death for the entertainment of the Council. The strongest survive The Crucible. The smartest own the Shroud. The best become Legend."

Choose from 24 hand-crafted kits and enter 1v1 SoupPvP matches. Win fights, earn Coins, and climb from Contender to Legend. The arena is where reputations are made — and where the Council measures your worth.
The open survival world. Form factions, claim land, and build your stronghold. Your arena XP determines how much territory your faction can hold. Fight to expand. Fail to defend and you lose everything.
A hostile dimension that resets every hour. Enter through a portal in the Frontier, mine Ember Crystals, and extract before the world collapses. Die and you lose every crystal you were carrying. Each crystal you bank converts to 25 Coins.
Every player starts as a Contender. Your rank is earned — not bought. Win games, climb higher.
Paid ranks are cosmetic only — The Crucible is always free to play and free to win.
Open Minecraft Java Edition 1.21. Any launcher works — official, Prism, or ATLauncher.
Go to Multiplayer → Add Server. Enter play.cruciblemc.net and hit Join.
