Three interconnected game modes. One server. The Grand Council owns everything — your only path is to outfight, outmine, and outplay everyone else.
The Crucible runs classic SoupPvP — fast, skill-based 1v1 fights where you regenerate health by consuming mushroom stew instead of using potions. Every match is decided by positioning, timing, and kit mastery.
In the arena hub, open the Kit Selection menu and choose one of 24 hand-crafted kits. Each kit has a unique gear loadout, ability, and playstyle. Browse all kits and their stats on the Kits page.
Walk into the queue portal or right-click the Queue Sign. You are matched with an opponent of similar rank. The match begins when both players are placed on opposite sides of the arena.
Your health does not regenerate automatically. Right-click mushroom stew in your hotbar to heal. Keep stew in easy-to-reach slots. Fights are decided by how efficiently you heal, how well you combo your opponent, and how much you understand your kit's abilities.
No potions — soup heals youEach win earns you Coins (gold). Coins are the server's currency — used for wagers, bounties, buying survival resources in the Frontier, and bidding for the weekly Gamemaster title. The more you win, the richer and more powerful you become.
Wins accumulate toward your rank. Your rank determines your standing on the leaderboard and unlocks titles, cosmetics, and bragging rights. There is no shortcut — every rank is earned in the arena.
Start at Contender. Every win moves you closer to Legend. Ranks are free — they are never sold.
Challenge any player to a wager match. Both players stake Coins. The winner takes all. Use the /wager command or the Wager board in the hub.
Put a Coin bounty on any player's head. The first person to kill them collects it. A visible bounty makes enemies more aggressive — and makes the target more careful.
Once per week, players bid Coins for the Gamemaster title. The highest bidder earns Council favour — temporary power to alter server conditions for that week.
In the Frontier, Coins buy food, tools, and materials from the Council's trade posts. Everything in the survival world has a cost — and the arena is how you earn the money to pay it.

Browse All 24 Kits →The Frontier is the open-world survival dimension. Players build bases, form factions, claim territory, and fight over resources. Your arena XP directly determines how much land your faction can control.
Type /faction create [name] to found your own faction, or ask a faction leader to invite you. Factions are how territory is held — a lone player cannot defend land for long.
Every kill in The Crucible awards XP. Your cumulative XP level determines your faction's maximum claim size — the more you fight in the arena, the more land your faction is entitled to hold.
Arena XP = Frontier claim rightsStand in a chunk you want to claim and type /f claim. Claimed land is protected from outside players — only faction members can build and break inside. The more XP your faction has collectively, the more chunks you can claim.
Within your claimed land, build a base and gather survival resources. Use Coins earned in the arena to buy additional supplies from Council trade posts. A well-supplied base is the foundation of a powerful faction.
Rival factions can attack your claimed land if your faction's power drops low enough. Dying in the Frontier reduces your power. Stay active, keep winning in the arena, and defend your borders — unchallenged land does not stay unchallenged for long.
Deaths reduce power — protect your landClaim rights are tied directly to arena performance. The Grand Council measures your worth by your kill count — and allocates land accordingly. Factions of strong fighters hold larger territory. Factions of weak players lose ground.
| Arena XP Tier | Max Claim Chunks |
|---|---|
| Contender | 4 chunks |
| Victor – Gladiator | 8 chunks |
| Champion | 16 chunks |
| Hero | 28 chunks |
| Legend | 48 chunks |
Claim limits shown are per-member contributions. Faction total is the sum of all active members' allowances.
Do not spread your claimed land thin. Compact bases are easier to defend. Claim a contiguous block of territory and fortify the edges before expanding.
Coins flow from the arena and from crystal extraction. Coordinating both — fighters in the Crucible and miners in the Shroud — is what separates dominant factions from struggling ones.
Every death in the Frontier drains your power stat. If a faction's total power falls below its claim count, enemies can raid and overclaim that land. Keep your members alive and active.
The portal to The Shroud is located in the Frontier hub. Coordinate extraction runs as a faction — the weekly crystal leaderboard rewards the strongest extracting faction with exclusive bonuses.

View Faction Leaderboard →A hostile dimension that resets every hour. Enter, mine Ember Crystals, and extract before it is too late. Die and you lose every crystal you were carrying.
Die inside the Shroud and every crystal you are carrying drops at your corpse. Your pre-Shroud gear is restored on respawn, but the crystals are gone — available for anyone to pick up and extract.
Every crystal you successfully extract converts directly to Coins. Coins buy resources in the Frontier, fund wagers and bounties, and power your bid for the weekly Gamemaster title.
The Shroud world resets every hour. Anyone still inside when the timer hits zero is evicted with nothing. No payout. No warning. Watch the HUD timer at all times.
In The Frontier, locate the nether portal at the hub. Your pre-Shroud inventory is automatically saved before you step through. You enter with nothing but your wits and an Exit Finder compass.
Ember Ore veins spawn throughout the Shroud world underground, between Y=20 and Y=55. Break them to collect Ember Crystals. Each vein drops 1 to 2 crystals. PvP is fully enabled — other players can and will attack you for your crystals.
Crystals drop on death — PvP is enabledThree exit platforms are scattered across the map — stone base, iron inlays, gold block centre, sea lanterns at the corners. Right-click your Exit Finder compass to lock it onto the nearest platform and see the distance. Platform locations change every reset.
Stand on the gold block at the centre of an exit platform without moving for 10 consecutive seconds. Your HUD action bar counts down. If you move, the timer resets. Reach zero and your crystals convert to Coins instantly — your pre-Shroud inventory is restored and you are returned to the Frontier.
10 seconds still — do not moveEvery second inside the Shroud, three pieces of critical information display on your action bar.
Your live Ember Crystal count. This is what you stand to lose if you die — and what converts to Coins if you extract.
Cardinal direction and distance to the nearest exit platform. Right-click the Exit Finder compass to lock the needle onto the closest platform.
Time remaining until the world resets. Turns yellow at 5 minutes, red at 2 minutes. When it hits zero, you are evicted with nothing.
Every Ember Crystal you successfully extract converts at a flat rate of 25 Coins per crystal. Crystals dropped by dead players convert at the same rate for whoever picks them up and extracts.
Crystal extraction is not just an individual effort. Factions compete to dominate the weekly rankings.
At the end of each week, the faction that has collectively extracted the most Ember Crystals earns exclusive server rewards. More members running The Shroud means more crystals and a stronger grip on the leaderboard.
Coordinate your faction's runs. Protect your members inside. Steal crystals from rivals. The Grand Council is watching — and they reward the strongest.
Specific reward details will be posted in News when finalized.
