Four custom PvP experiences. One network. The Grand Leader owns everything. Your performance, his entertainment — is your only way out.
The Crucible runs simplified SoupPvP — fast, skill-based fights where you regenerate health by consuming soup. Anything that grows can be used for soup. Every match is decided by positioning, timing, and kit mastery.
In the arena hub, open the Kit Selection menu and choose one of many hand-crafted kits. Each kit has a unique gear loadout, ability, and playstyle. Browse all kits and their stats on the Kits page.
Walk into the queue portal or right-click the Queue Sign. You are matched with an opponent of similar rank. The match begins when both players are placed on opposite sides of the arena.
Your health does not regenerate automatically. Right-click soup in your hotbar to heal. Anything that grows can be soup — mushrooms, sugar cane, wheat, anything. Keep soup in easy-to-reach slots. Fights are decided by how efficiently you heal, how well you combo your opponent, and how much you understand your kit's abilities.
No potions — soup heals youEach win earns you Coins (gold). Coins are the server's currency — used for wagers, bounties, and buying survival resources in Shroud SMP. The more you win, the more impact you have.
Wins contribute greatly to your rank. Your rank determines your influence, unlocking titles, cosmetics, land claims, and more. There is no shortcut — every rank is earned through XP earned in any mode.
Challenge any player to a wager match. Both players stake Coins. The winner takes all. Use the /wager command or the Wager board in the hub.
Put a Coin bounty on any player's head. The first person to kill them collects it. A visible bounty makes enemies more aggressive — and makes the target more careful.
In the Shroud SMP overworld, Coins buy food, tools, and materials from the Council's trade posts. Everything in the survival world has a cost — and the arena is how you earn the money to pay it.

Browse All Kits →Mosh Pit (Training Grounds) lives on the hub. Connect, run /moshpit play, and you're slotted into a sticky lobby. Players vote on three randomly-selected modes, the match plays out, and you cycle back to the same lobby for the next vote.
From the hub, type /moshpit play or right-click the Mosh Pit (Training Grounds) NPC. You're placed in an open lobby with up to nine other players.
Three voting pads appear in the lobby, each lit a different color and labeled with a mode name. Stand on the pad of the mode you want. After fifteen seconds, the winning mode loads.
15s vote — last pad you stood on countsSpawn on a custom map with the kit assigned by the mode. Matches typically last 3-8 minutes. Win or lose, all kills count toward your network XP.
When the match ends, you're teleported back to the same lobby. New countdown, new vote, new mode. Leave whenever — /moshpit leave ports you to the hub.
Every mode is hand-built on a custom map. Some are FFA chaos, some are 5v5 tactical.
One bow, infinite arrows, one-shot kills. Pure aim duel.
Team deathmatch. First team to the kill cap wins.
Capture the flag. Steal theirs, defend yours.
Hold three control points to drain the enemy team's tickets.
Search & destroy. Plant the bomb or stop the planters.
Knock everyone off the platform. Last one standing wins.
Break snow blocks under your opponents. Don't fall.
Connect to play.cruciblemc.net, stay on the hub, and run /moshpit play.
Shroud SMP runs on the fringe server. The overworld is your home — persistent, claimable, factions-driven. The Shroud is the dimension underneath — hostile, time-limited, high-stakes.
The overworld never resets. Form factions, claim chunks, build bases, defend territory. Shroud Crystal Ore also spawns here at lower yield — passive Coin income while you build.
A hostile dimension reached via portal from your overworld base. Mine fast, fight bosses, extract before the clock runs out. Die in there and you leave with nothing.
Type /faction create [name] to found your own, or ask a leader to invite you. Factions are how territory is held — a lone player cannot defend land for long.
Stand in a chunk and type /f claim. Claimed land is protected from outsiders — only faction members can build inside. Your max claim size scales with your network rank.
Within your claimed land, build a base and gather resources. Spend Coins from The Crucible / Mosh Pit (Training Grounds) / Shroud runs on supplies. A well-stocked base is the foundation of a powerful faction.
Rival factions can attack your land if your power drops. Dying reduces power. Stay active, keep winning, defend your borders — unchallenged land doesn't stay unchallenged for long.
Deaths reduce power — protect your landA hostile dimension that resets often — without warning. Enter, mine Shroud Crystals, and extract before the world collapses. Die and you lose every crystal you were carrying.
Die inside the Shroud and every crystal you are carrying drops at your corpse. Your overworld gear is restored on respawn, but the crystals are gone — available for anyone to pick up and extract.
Every crystal you successfully extract converts directly to Coins. Coins buy overworld supplies and fund wagers and bounties — the more crystals you bring home, the more weight you swing on the network.
The Shroud dimension resets often — without warning. Anyone still inside when the world collapses is evicted with nothing. No payout. No warning. Watch the HUD timer at all times.
The Shroud is accessed like the Nether — build an obsidian portal frame (minimum 4×5) anywhere in the overworld and light it with flint and steel. Step through to enter. Your overworld inventory is automatically saved the moment you cross over, and restored when you extract or are evicted. You enter with nothing but your wits and an Exit Compass.
Build it like a Nether portal — any location in your overworldShroud Crystals are found underground between Y=20 and Y=55, dropped by custom bosses, and rewarded through in-world quests. PvP is fully enabled — other players can and will attack you for your crystals.
Crystals drop on death — PvP is enabledThree exit platforms are scattered across the map — stone base, iron inlays, gold block center, sea lanterns at the corners. Right-click your Exit Compass to lock it onto the nearest platform and see the distance. Platform locations change every reset.
Stand on the gold block at the centre of an exit platform without moving for 10 consecutive seconds. Your HUD action bar counts down. If you move, the timer resets. Reach zero and your crystals convert to Coins instantly — your overworld inventory is restored and you are returned to the surface.
10 seconds still — do not moveEvery second inside the Shroud, three pieces of critical information display on your action bar.
Your live Shroud Crystal count. This is what you stand to lose if you die — and what converts to Coins if you extract.
Cardinal direction and distance to the nearest exit platform. Right-click the Exit Compass to lock the needle onto the closest platform.
Time remaining until the world resets. Turns yellow at 5 minutes, red at 2 minutes. When it hits zero, you are evicted with nothing.
Every Shroud Crystal you successfully extract converts at a flat rate of 25 Coins per crystal. Crystals dropped by dead players convert at the same rate for whoever picks them up and extracts.
Crystal extraction is not just an individual effort. Factions compete to dominate the weekly rankings.
At the end of each week, the faction that has collectively extracted the most Shroud Crystals earns exclusive server rewards. More members running The Shroud means more crystals and a stronger grip on the leaderboard.
Coordinate your faction's runs. Protect your members inside. Steal crystals from rivals. The Grand Council is watching — and they reward the strongest.
Specific reward details will be posted in News when finalized.
Connect to play.cruciblemc.net, claim your corner of the overworld, and step through the Shroud portal when you are ready.
