The Crucible's flagship arena mode. Pick a kit. Drop in. Fight to be the last one standing. Climb from Contender to Legend across a hundred matches — rank is earned, not purchased.
From queue to victory, every The Crucible match follows the same rhythm.
From the hub, click the The Crucible NPC or hit /queue. You'll be matched into one of three concurrent arena worlds as soon as enough players are ready.
Before the match starts you get a 30-second prep window. Open /kit to pick from over 20 kits. Your selection persists across matches — change it any time between rounds.
Standard combat is SoupPvP — punch-to-heal restorative items. Loot the map for resources, drink soup mid-fight to stay alive, and use your kit's special ability to swing engagements. One life only.
When the dust clears and one player remains, they're crowned The Crucible Champion. The arena resets and pulls the next match from the queue.
Every match earns coins (for the shop and customization) and network XP (for rank progression). Every win counts toward your climb up the ladder.
The three systems that define how The Crucible plays — click any for the deep dive.
Each kit changes how you play. Archers dominate range. Phantoms strike from invisibility. Vampires snowball off kills. Thors call lightning. Pick the one that fits your style — or counter-pick the meta.
View All Kits →Healing is on-demand — eat a soup at any time to restore health. The catch: soup is the only healing item, so resource management is part of the fight. Anything that grows can be brewed into soup.
How SoupPvP Works →Contender, Victor, Gladiator, Champion, Hero, Legend. Every rank is unlocked by winning matches — the highest cosmetic ranks are earned, never bought. Paid ranks stack on top with cosmetics and shop perks.
Full Ladder →Every The Crucible win pushes you up the ladder.
Hub spawn → The Crucible NPC, or just type /queue from anywhere. The next match starts as soon as the queue fills.
